Miss Maddy in Japan

こんにちは！ So transfer day... I'm staying and so is Sister Evangelista!  So a little about this crazy fun week! P-day was an aquarium.  Afterwards, we met this lady at the church who called us a few weeks ago and wants us to help her teach English.  So we met her and went to her house and met one of the students. It was so fun and crazy because we mostly talked about the church and the rules and this lady is so nice and so open to listen! We have another lesson for Saturday!  Tuesday it was really busy. We had District training and right after we had DCS and right after Evangelista Shimai had a mogi (role play) with だん 兄弟. Right after we got in a car with a member to have a member lesson and take food to a sister in the ward who has been sick. Then we came home just in time for a little companion study and then rushed off to help at mission prep.  Wednesday we went on base to teach a lesson to a member's daughter. Lunch after the aquarium for pday! Hello all! This week was a bit crazy and fun! We had a lot of cool experiences. I also went to the dr’s again and my elbow is still fractured but I can take the wrap and splint off more often, and I’ve started rehabilitation. It was so weird. I layed on a table and they messed with my arm. I’m sure it is normal-ish but it looked a bit funny. We also had a great lesson with a part-member family who hasn’t been to church in a while. It was awesome! They are a half family, the dad is American and the mom is from Okinawa. They have two kids who are soooo cute! It was awesome and they said we could come back again. We also had a ward BBQ for the Japanese ward and some of our English students came. It was really fun! We ate a lot of yummy food. When I say BBQ, it is not like hot dogs and burgers, it’s different…hard to explain. But it was yummy! We also went to a party.
