week 4: ups and downs
Konnichiwa!
Funny keiken: two good ones this week.
1. Gawrys Shimai and I were walking and she started to slip. She said "I'm going to fall" and a few seconds later she was on the ground laughing! Some sweet Chorotachi (elders) slid up to help.
2. One night Hippolite Shimai was watching old videos we made and someone was laughing. Rasmussen Shimai said "man I have an ugly laugh." Hippolite Shimai looked over and said " that was me laughing!" We all couldn't stop laughing. It was super funny.
Spiritual keiken: Our speaker this week was Tad R. Callister. He talked on the Book of Mormon. It was really cool. He went through a bunch of facts that prove that the Book of Mormon is true but at the end he said the way to know it is true is to read it and pray because the spirit is the only certain and sure witness.
New words: Nihongo ใซใปใใ :Japanese
Senkyoshi: missionary
It was a really cool week with a lot of ups and down (usually from slipping ๐)
I miss you all and I hope you all are well. I know this church is true and the Book of Mormon is true.
Love

BEST MTC ROOMIES
One of the highlights of the MTC has been participating in the MTC choir.
Brother Eggett doesn't just teach us songs, he teaches us the meaning and stories behind the hymns we sing. It is one of the places where I feel the spirit so close, and it testifies to me of the truth in the words I am singing.
