week 57: planes, buses, and conferences

just visiting the goats!

こんにちは!元気ですか? TRANSFERS! Well we got our new companions and tried to make some room for them, but for now it kinda feels like a long sleepover. We have a lot of fun though! This week we did a lot of planning for a training we are giving for zone conference this week. It will be really fun! Our craft is awesome! So next week I will send a pic of it! Sorry this weeks email is short. We're getting ready to get on a plane to fly to Fukuoka for a training, so we don't have any time for email!

Funny keiken: We were planning all day and one of the days we were all just dead....like brains majorly fried! So we all just started laughing and the Shaw couple stopped by the church. They saw us and just started laughing at how much we were fried. It was super funny! Totally reminded me of of hanging out with my friends late at night when everything ends up funny.

Spiritual keiken: So this last week sister Aburto from the relief society general presidency came and spoke to us! It was amazing! There was a way familiar feeling of the spirit. Whenever I went to devotionals back home and at the MTC, there was the same special spirit. Please never take for granted the opportunity you have to hear leaders of our church speak. It can change your life.

 New words:
なつかしい(natsukashii): nostalgic
ごご(gogo): afternoon

I love you all so much!
Love, Thompson 姉妹

Bits and pieces from family emails/phone calls:
Our tiny apartment got a little bit tinier this week! There are four of us in the apartment...and there's not an actual bedroom, so we all have our futons squeezed on the floor in the kitchen/living room...literally, one big sleepover!
Thank heavens my mom reminded me to get some motion sickness medicine before we headed to the airport...that might have been a big problem.
It's a crazy week...Missionary Leadership Conference in Fukuoka for two days...then we fly to Naha and stay with sisters there for zone conference that starts Wednesday. Our poor comps will be figuring out things together for a few days while Sister Jorgensen and I are gone. We will all see each other Wednesday/Thursday at zone conference.
